you can think that all you want- but you’d be wrong lol

Since I have driven about 25k miles on Toyo MTs since that post - I will give you my honest 25k mile review. I may have 1 less MPG but these tires out last and out perform the BFG KO2 in every sense. I am also goosetuned and drive very well spirited so my assessment might be different than others. Wheels are Venomrex 602 17in so I am saving a little weight there over stock wheels. Well worth the added road noise and MPG sacrifice in my opinion...but you know what they say about opinions...

I will be going Toyo again for replacements when needed but I think I will get another 20-25k miles out of these which is twice as long as the BFGs lasted (for me) on this truck and my previous truck. I also tow quite a bit. The Toyos are wearing well with normal rotations and require very little weight to balance.

Yeah having the extra power from tune, the 4.10 gears & 10 speed tranny it covers a lot of the drop in performance, but running tires that were 10 lbs heavier on my last GMC for instance, resulted in noticeable drop in acceleration & braking along w/ 1-1.5 mpg less

The unsprung weight advantage is no myth- its physics & it’s pretty huge, put it this way- you for sure could feel the difference going from a new GT500 w/ base wheels vs the carbon fiber set- that’s why they offer those on the GT & GT500- they’re a legit no playing around performance upgrade

Everyday use is fine. Not as soft as stock but less body roll. I will probably buy again if nothing comes out that is better. My BFG only lasted about 18k miles. LOL

Just put on Cooper discoverer AT3 XLT - LT315/70R17 118S tire....as stated before it's a E-rated tire. But no complaints, only had them for a week.
