Since you probably don't use 4wd very often down in panama your cv axles will last a little longer but will still wear out it'll just take longer but if you say there isn't any damage then keep it up there.

As for your tie rods if replace them. With the stock tie rods you have a lot of slop and play in them get a set of RPG tie rods and you'll notice a good difference in the steering it'll tighten it up

Yes, i bought rpg tie rods for my father's ford raptor, the -12 offset wheels wear the tie rods pretty fast so ordered a stroger tie rods

This is my truck helping my bro f250 get the boat into the water, because the front axle got broken.
I was full locked at the front and rear with top perch

Hey i have a 2013 ford raptor, my first mod was a mid perch swaybar removed and i liked it hoe the truck performed no diving and firmer than bottom perch.
Mid perch all the time i was topping suspension bump stop on my onroad driving and offroad it topped a lot.
Then i decided to move to top perch, truck looks even better and feel it handles better onroad diving it less than miderch feels firmer and safer on turns offroad the suspension rebound increased but not a big deal i go across pot holes on and offroad hit it hard my truck havent had any problem with the cv joints at all, it have been like 2 month i did top perch and feel happy about it.
Top perch no sway bar stock bfgs at 25psi daily.

How are the CVs holding up, been a long time now that you have been on it?

I just got a 2014 and I am on Top perch, didn't feel any issues in 4x4 during my typical off-road use. So I am going to let it ride and see how it does. Really love the truck being leveled and don't want to go to Mid.

He went to an h&m long travel kit with a very questionable install, lol.

part of your 'problem' is that you removed the sway bar. The spring rates on the factory shocks just aren't stiff enough to run without it, especially on mid perch. It might be a tad better on top perch but there are going to be issues as already pointed out. Upgrade to 3.0s and you'll be fine without the sway bar and it will soak up the crappy roads better.

Let us know in about a month or two how many cv axles you're destroyed. There's a reason why people only do mid perch in a 2012 and newer. The new front torsion differential for uses does something to the angles on the cv axles and they bind and get screwed up. I have yet to see or hear about a 2012 or newer raptor running on top perch with no issue. And if you're bottoming out on the road on mid perch either you're driving really fast over some pretty nasty roads or your shocks aren't working right. I'd get them looked at

I have a 2011 and I bought it 3 years ago, it had 57,000 miles on it.. I had no idea about perch positions. Didn’t know there was such a thing for quite some time.. but it was in the top perch position and has been ever since.. I now have over 150,000 miles on it.. in top perch.. it will remain in top... people say it’s hard on front end... maybe,, idk though.. I did put camburg uppers and swapped out the tie rod ends with moogs... but that was mainly because I was, and still am planning on upgrading to 3.0s sometime soon.. really.. your just lifting the springs.. I don’t know how it effects the cv ...I don’t think it does.. I’ve got a hundred thousand miles to provide anecdotal evidence that it doesn’t.. it’s my daily driver.. I don’t go off road except my driveway is pretty bad sometimes..

Are you saying that you were bottoming out the front suspension on mid-perch even on the street? Where the hell do you drive?

I wish you luck on top-perch with a 2013, but I think you're going to have problems.

Why do you think he will have problems at top perch... I’ve been running at top perch for over 100,000 miles and it’s all good.. so far...
