John does excellent videos also and you can tell has a real passion for what he does.

That said, let's not forget that the other vendors here, both Adam of 4x4LEDS and Jeff of OffRoadAlliance also provide excellent service and you really can't go wrong with any of them.

Finally able to install my Rigid Radiance lights from SPV. Had this little thing called Tropical Storm Beta take up most of my time last weekend. The provided wire harness was well built, but leaves quite a bit of wire at each end when installed. Would have been much cleaner with 12” less harness to tuck away (likely an issue because the Rigid lights have LONG wires).

I don’t doubt that either, I simply haven’t dealt with either of them “yet”.

Okay folks, it is 8:45 on Sunday night and I'm about to purchase the Specialty Performance Parts Rigid Radiance light kit for my 2020 Raptor on Amazon for $599

Yeah, stop buying off Amazon and go directly through the vendors. Jeff Bezos is an evil coc*sucker who doesn’t give two effs about you, your community, or local economy. Buy directly from small businesses, vendors who support this site, brick and mortars, etc. That guy is nothing more than a slimy modern day Robber Baron. Don’t give him a cent off a transaction you would’ve made with a vendor anyway.

I always try to support the little guys - the fabric of the community. Plus, I won’t step foot in a mall or shopping centre.

A lot of small guys started on amazon and a lot continue to sell there. Some have had great success. I could care less if Bezos wants to lick my cujones or shove a pole up my ass. When I want to buy something and I go to the local hardware store, unless I need it at that very moment, I will price check Amazon. If the local store is within 10 percent, no problem. If they want 50 bucks for something selling on Amazon a lot cheaper, sometimes I will show it to them on my phone and they often match the price.

I recently went into an Agway to purchase horse stall mats. Strolled down the pet aisle and saw a dog harness I wanted. One I had was too small for my pup. Agway price: $54. Exact same item on Amazon, $34. Sorry, but I don’t have stupid written across my forehead. My mom raised fat kids, not stupid ones. As I waited for the stall mats, I ordered the harness on my phone and had it 2 days later.

Some of us actually run retail stores, online stores AND amazon stores.

Whenever I see people going "don't buy on amazon" it makes me wonder if they really understand amazon and how it works. Amazon is like a big state fair. Sure the fair owners have their own items they sell but there are lots of local businesses who also setup shop and sell their goods.

Whenever someone buys on amazon they might be supporting a local business. It IS better to buy direct let me tell ya, then through someones amazon store. Because amazon takes a nice phat chunk of change out (more then you'd pay a salesmen commission). It's the volume you are after at the end of the day.

We treat our amazon customers like family still. If they bought from us, no matter what venue, they get the same customer service. We don't run any sales on amazon of course, since they are getting a good chunk of our profits, but still amazon sales are helping lots of small business also.
