I went with the JLT because its the only one that has a bigger MAF housing so it actually flows more than stock, it also 100% requires a tune. Truck made (on a dynojet, so these are relaible numbers) 346whp and 363wtq on 91 octane with stock manifolds and cats.

3.0's won't void your warranty ;)



Meh. Do you also not **** your wife so she retains her value for the next dude?

KEEP IT STOCK......2014 was the last year of Gen 1,and agree,they will go up in value if kept in good condition,mine has already increased.I do consider mine "Stock" because work was done by SHELBY...and all I've addede is Driving/Fog lights in bumper and a Tonneau cover.
If your going to real beat on it for work or play,not really going to matter,so modify away...but if keeping for long haul as the best damn truck ever and a daily driver going off road once and a while like me....keep it stock...
Maybe do the Exhaust...even Wheels...easy reversals...just remember to keep EVERYTHING you take off it.....
This comes from a guy who still owns his High School car he bought in 1973,a 1963 Corvette....47 years,and has a shop full of parts from its history...its gone from mild stock to wild street racer (Dual Carb w/Blower)...but I never touched the body,or interior,changed engine out 3-4 times depending on my mood or going thru 2nd childhood...but now,it sits in Garage and you would be hard pressed to know its not a 2-3 year old used car.Totally back to the way it came from showroom...not going to win Bloomfield NCRS Top Flight Awards,but have won 6-7 in its history...
So.....after my rant.LOL....STOCK would be my choice...if you want to play with mods and can afford it,buy a 2012,2013 and go at it..!:33:

I've left my raptor mostly stock, other than the exhaust it's actually closer to stock than it was when I bought it.

I know if I start modifying the truck it's going off the deep end in a hurry. There is a lot I would love to do to it, but I am not good at going half-way with cars.

Besides, a raptor will never be fast. Anyone who thinks they are going to make a 6000lb truck quick on the street is delusional, or has simply never driven something with a good power to weight ratio. They are awesome in the dirt, ride well, handle long drives with ease, that's what I like mine for. I would rather spend the money on one of the other vehicles. They each have their traits, and that keeps the raptor feeling fresh and special every time I get in it.

ummm I beat every Hyundai and and other soccer mom ride off the line... so...

but kidding a side yeah it's definitely not fast when I compare to my old modded STi or any other fast vehicle I've owned. I like doing mods as I have time and money though, keeps things fun.

Great insight and thanks for the replies. I can attest to once I start modding it turns into a slippery slope where I have boxes showing up way to often. I love the way the modded trucks look but I will continue my quest, which will be a hard one, to keep it as close to stock with the few mods I currently have.

Now the hard question.....I can't quite answer.....should I go with the Black Chrome tips or...stainless for a Silver colored truck

I went with the black chrome and the corsa extreme on my 2012 silver SCREW. I really like it. no drone really and its sounds tame unless you get on the throttle a lot. Cold start is like this. I kept the resonator if I ever want to swap it back in but I don't see myself doing that at this time. The only difference between the sport and the extreme is the resonator delete pipe inclusion.

No Problem, I did save a bit on the corsa by finding it on sale at Stage3 which was the cheapest at the time and timed it with a corsa 125$ rebate. Total savings $225. Its seems like you should be able to get a similar deal if you wait/look around for it.
