With the storage bin and subwoofer removed it fits nicely under the two seats. I'll miss the storage bin a little, but I've still got plenty of interior storage behind the rear seats, plus the area where the OEM spare tools were. The subwoofer will be relocated behind the rear seat after I make some new brackets for it.

Well, I decided to change it up. I was going to put the sub behind the rear seat but in a supercrew there's very little room back there, especially with the seat bottom folded up. I decided then to see if I could mount the rifle behind the seat, but the sliding window motor was in the way of the scope and it was still a very tight fit. I then settled on mounting it to the bottom of the driver side rear seat.

I used one Quick Fist mini clamp and one Quick Fist regular clamp. I ended up having to make an aluminum bracket to hold the one side because the seat metal didn't extend far enough up to mount it. The magazines are mounted to 45 pound magnets with industrial velcro holding them to the seat. I also ended up mounting my handgun using the same magnets.

With apologies for going all range puritan on you here:

I would look really hard at the magazine mounts and the handgun mount with a critical eye. Ask yourself this - what will happen to these things if I’m in a collision, roll over or just going a little hooligan off road?

These are things you don’t want going ballistic from hard driving, or in a collision.
I’m not opposed to hard mounts for handguns, magazines, etc, but magnets - well, all connectors have a failure point and I’m exceedingly skeptical that these would hold your items in place sufficiently.

I'm not sure how many people on here go off roading with "loose" items in the truck. All of these things have cases they go in outside of "normal" driving. Also, these are not what I would consider weak magnets either, and I'm not worried about then coming loose in a "Collision" outside of getting hit head-on by a semi or a train. Lastly, if I roll the truck over, Ive got far worse issues, and most likely that's not gonna happen on the road. I understand your concerns, but you're talking a lot of big what ifs there.

Having been in a head-on in a Corvette and a 360 rollover in a Chevy, I can attest to the unforseen and surprising forces of accidents. Any loose items will become deadly missles in the interior including a handgun attached to a magnet. The glove box and the console lid will likely come open and all contents will also become missles. Even your shoes may come off.

It's all about how must risk a person is willing to assume. Like you I have a gun magnet mounted on the side of the console. I don't know your age, but I suspect you are about half my age. As someone gets older they think about their motality more and more, thus they often take less risk. I'm not a know it all, or done it all person, just someone that's seen and experienced a lot more than when I was half my age.

I run an automotive shop for a living, so I know the forces accidents can exert on a vehicle. That being said there's definitely risks I'm willing to take v.s the "what ifs." In this day in age I'm more worried about needing my firearms than what will happen if I roll the truck over. If I'm in a situation that I'm worried about rolling the truck over or off-roading it, the stuff will be in cases.
