I know I posted on another Black lug nuts thread and will share the same advice here;

Regardless if which Black lugs you get, never use an impact wrench/gun on them. They will get scratched from the impact slap and as soon as they get wet they will begin to rust and look like crap. Hand tighten/loosen only.

100% Hand tools only.

I do believe that impact guns bash the hell out of the Ford oem lug nuts too. May not be why they swell but causes stress on that ****** 2 piece design.

I noticed my front lug nuts, which were removed by the dealer for warranty work, have marks from the impact socket.
