U nuts FTW - I installed these for my skid plate and it makes oil changes a breeze. They are strong as hell too, a bit rusted at this point but strong.

Circling back on above post... for my ADD Stealth front bumper the correct size U-nut was 5/16"-18

I purchased them from Lowe's, Hillman 0823671640

For the outermost screw on either side, I had to drill the hole out bigger, cut the U-nut in half. It is purely cosmetic now. All the other holes I was able to use the U-nut.

I think ADD listened to some of the criticisms on this thread because my Stealth Fighter that I bought in May of this year has the skid plate nuts welded onto the bumper.

That must’ve been a recent change cause I also bought mine in May this year and it came directly from ADD and mine were not welded.

How has your bumper held up against rust?

This option doesn’t work well with the Stealth Fighter bumper with the winch mount.
