Start Stop insanity

Best $60 I've spent on this rig. Start Stop Eliminator. I have no affiliation or skin in the game. Just want to spread the joy.

Where you get it for that price?

I don’t know what’s worse-the double honk or start/stop?

Forscan and Cobb AP will disable the start/stop.

The double honk is the most obnoxious vehicle setting I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Damn thing will get your blood boiling in no time

That must be an 802A thing. I owned an 800A and an 801A and neither one did the double honk.

You can permanently disable the start/stop for free. All you have to do is unplug the black plug at the bottom of the trailer brake light module. I unplugged mine before I even drove it off the lot. The only time you'd need to plug it back in would be when you are towing a trailer. If not, your trailer lights won't work. Here is a video on how to do it/where the plug is:

I actually dont mind the start stop feature. If I want to drive a bit harder then I throw it into sport or baja if I'm off road. These modes disable start stop feature when driving anyways. The feature I find most annoying is the double honk when the engine is running. I used forscan to remove this feature and I love my truck now in every way.

Same here. I was just wondering when it double honked.

I also hated that Auto Start/Stop feature.

Did this two years ago and spent 20 minutes and a paper clip, has never come back on.

Tow/haul button on the console shifter also disables auto start/ stop as well.
