Sorry man, that sucks. It sounds like there was more than a little joy riding going on. I hope there's some way to roast that shipper's nuts.

Isn’t pretty straight forward grand larceny? He stole someone’s (the dealerships/your) truck and “evaded” police (not in a chase but they sure took it and were evasive to the police).

Seems an arrest should be in order.

Dude has just experienced a rather epic journey to actually lay eyes on his Raptor. Admittedly, the end result isn’t 100% desired, but, he’s already signed financial papers, so he owes money on the truck. Walking or running away may not be a practical option here.

Warranty extended to 125k? Full service contract? If the only damage is mud, scratches, and a few extra miles, the truck is likely just fine. It could be a screaming good deal to keep it if the dealer is motivated to make it right.
