Hey everyone my complaining ass is back.

truck has 1000 more km than promised ( shipper took this truck off road undercarriage is super dirty )

failed the inspection

undercarriage is full of mud

I don’t want my trade in back

there is 100 rock chips on the truck

tailgate is scratched to shit

windshield is cracked

I think I’m gonna walk from the deal.

Check all body panels very close. I would think he may have had an accident ?

If you sign papers & drive off the lot with the vehicle, you own all the damage. Your only recourse is paperwork from the selling stealership acknowledging the damage and promising to repair it to your satisfaction.

Where I’m from, there is a law entitled ‘unlawful use of an animal, aircraft, vehicle or boat’. it covers a wide variety of situations that include snatching farm animals to joyriding in cars. it’s a felony and the courts have interpreted it pretty broadly such as having the car without the owner’s permission which typically gives the owner a thumbs up / thumbs down on whether the vehicle possessor goes free, or goes to prison.

See if your local jurisdiction has a similar law, even if it’s a misdemeanor.
