Question for the board...

I know that one should get an alignment after performing any front suspension work, but what is the consensus on the rear?

I plan to install springs this week and it looks like my leaf springs won't be here until a week after. Should I go in for an alignment after a few hundred miles on the new springs and then again after the leaf springs have settled? Or just go in all at once?

I did my alignment when the springs were installed and have not had any problems, there is no harm in waiting for your rear leafs to come in. Some suggest a wait period for their new springs to settle

The factory doesn’t wait for springs to settle and you come back for the alignment. I realize these are not installed to factory new precession and they are aftermarket. But I don’t think it matters much. Can’t say I have noticed any settling with mine.

Just do it once after everything is on. I did the rear first, drove for a few weeks, then the front, and drove a couple hundred miles before the alignment. I did Eibach and they didn't really settle at all, but the Icons on option 2 settled about half an inch. The specs weren't bad during the alignment...The guy was asking if I even lifted it haha...was a bit out of spec on toe but everything else was good.
