This may have been figured out a long time ago, but... I have it and it's driving me nuts. Just picked up my new leftover '19 Raptor yesterday. Drove from Ada, OK to Weatherford, TX with no problems. Stopped and got out for maybe 30 minutes for coffee and when I restarted the truck I noticed a high pitched whine inside the truck. Tone varies, gets more then less noticeable but doesn't stop. Tried turning the AC and stereo system completely off--no effect. Continued for 150 miles. When I got home I noticed that it even continued for several minutes after turning the truck off. Got up to take my wife to breakfast and no whine... came out of the burrito shop, restarted it and the whine started again. This time I timed it after turning the truck off--lasted for 8 minutes. Ideas? What the heck is it?

First I’ve heard of it, but it may be an issue with your audio system. Do you have any aftermarket electronics or modifications? Even something as simple as a cell phone charger can sometimes induce electrical noise into a vehicle.

Try removing the fuse for Audio Control Module (ACM), which is Fuse 33 in the BCM (behind right side kick panel). If the noise stops, it’s audio system related.

I’ll try removing the fuse. No charger, no mods—just got the truck Friday. Makes the noise with stereo turned completely off, also with AC turned off.

Let us know the results. The audio system is never truly off until power is removed, as it’s used for engine sound enhancement.
