I got rear ended twice at red lights by A-holes on cell phones. Once in a 3 month old Corvette and once in a 6 day old F150. Riding my motorcycle hasn't been as enjoyable as it used to be because of these morons.
Glad you're alright. As someone above said, get checked out. Sometimes injuries don't pop up till a day or two later.

Sucks man, if there's no frame damage, they should be able to fix it, gonna take awhile though. Glad you're all okay, that's the main thing.

Really sucks. I’ve been there as my previous Raptor was rear ended and totaled. I had a very long PT program. Make sure you get checked out so everything is ok. Health is the most important. Good comps are what will help proving value for the insurance co. You may want to look at what similar trucks are going for nearby and feed that to the ins co.

Sorry to hear about your accident, hope you and the other driver are ok.

Like others have said, get as many comps as possible and then add the MODS you paid for on top of the highest comps. Many people forget to include a prorated DMV fee and taxes on the final agreed too amount, so include theses as well.

For the future, this is exactly why I always insure all, my cars for an “agreed to value” or sometimes referred too as “lock value”. I MOD almost all my cars, so I’ll ask my insurance broker to cover for the full purchase price of a new car, then provide receipts for any work I have completed and ask the agreed to value to include both the purchase price and aftermarket add one. Nowadays with Paint Film and Ceramic coating protection and MODS, the full replacement price on a new purchase could easily exceed $10k plus.

not sure of the law out there, but nationally, since its not your fault, the other party (or their insurance) is responsible for getting you back to pre collision status. so if its a replacement with all the mods transferred over, or they fix the truck to oem specs, you should not accept anything that is a compromise.

Even so, insurance companies aren’t going to cover you for a brand new truck, they pay out for depreciated, model year value. You are free to sue the at fault driver for more, but insurance companies don’t make you whole, they pay the least amount required by law.

Their professional lobbyists write the law [that legislators advocate, vote on and get passed].

Some companies have replacement coverage which costs a little more. I recommend having that extra coverage.

Yeah & that's kinda my concern this is a unique vehicle w/ a unique value point, & again being that I owned outright, they no longer produce the vehicle new, the used market is very strong & new market is obviously tight - its unique situation

Now having taken 48 hrs to reflect about it....I actually hope it isn't totaled, I started looking around @ local dealer inventory & have yet to find one that matches up closely to what I had - either stripped down ones (found 3 cloth interior Raps actually!) or FULLY FULLY loaded up $74-77k msrp & saw one that was new but had godawful aftermarket lift, wide offset wheels w/ 20"s - straight puke city.

In the very least I have the 2 side curtain airbags/headliner, the steering bag, the driver side door might be pinched, the front bumper/skidplates/headlights/grill/rad/IC/transfer case/driver side axle/driver front fender all toast, driver side front shock/suspension might be effected also. Don't think it got to the point where the engine itself was damaged/shifted but I'll find out this week

If its a scenario where body shop is just bolting on new fenders/bumper/grill & I'm getting a new transfer case/diff/axles/IC/rad its not the end of the world. I had just treated the whole frame/undercarriage w/ Amsoil HDMP too lol! My ORA pocket lights are toast luckily I have receipts for that.............I wanted to get the bumpers & skidplate done in linex anyhow so this is an opportunity for that......trying to turn a frown upside down lol
