I think I was up to 17 posts. I guess I could have clogged several threads on the forum with useless or redundant posts to work on my count. I went ahead and became a supporting member anyway.

It as 30+.... sounds like you were looking for attention... never seen any5thing like this.. Just post 1, wait for reply and go from there.. not 30+ constantly...

Edit: Doesn't look like there isn't any 2020 Ford Raptor, just 2019. There will be a 2022 Raptor next year around this time.

I wasn't looking for attention. Actually, the exact opposite. Instead of posting useless posts on other threads (like yours), I created my own thread where posts typically go unread.

I can guarantee there are 2020 Raptors... do a search.

WHY? To pay tax twice?

In Florida, the trade in value is deducted from the new vehicle taxable value, so I'm good on that.

Perfers to buy instead of wash.

Lol... usually, I keep my vehicles for 5-6 years or 125k-150k miles. My 2019 had 27k miles 802A and all the options (minus seats and decals). The new 2020 had 61 miles and the same options. It cost me about $8k to make the swap, or roughly $0.30/mile to drive the 2019 ($444/month). I'll pay $444/month to drive a new loaded Raptor every year, especially when the IRS mileage reimbursement is $0.57/mile.

Unusual way to start posting after 4+ years, and rarely do threads with this many useless posts go "unnoticed". ;)

With that said, why did you trade so quickly? I see your math, but it does not add up. If it cost you $8K to make the swap at $444/month, did you take into account how much you were paying per month on top of your $8K loss? Buying a new vehicle after only one year, resets the payment window to a new date a year further out. You have to take your 1 year of payments for the 2019 into consideration when calculating your "loss" as that money is not coming back into your pocket by buying a new 2020.
