So the parts you guys were talking about are not in the pics of the taillights. Got it.

To each their own, I prefer not having the white led sticking out. Also, is it considered a "raptor" version if it was basically the 2015-2017 F150 LED tail light?

Wasn’t trying to give you shit. Just didn’t know what you were talking about and the pics made it even more confusing because nothing in the pic fit what you were describing. I was just asking so the thread was useful in the future.

I was able to change over the modules from my stock tail lights, thanks again to @Antho. Here are some pictures I took during the process, I was assuming they could not change over due to the shape difference in the Aluminum heat sink but the modules are located on the opposite side, inside the tail light.

** There did not appear to be enough room to unclip the module on the "new" design tail light, so I had to un-bolt and than unclip.

While I was never a fan of the additional piece of white in the taillight. I know think it looks better having it, as this new style looks generic to “me”. I also like the single halo(outline effect), vs this dual top and bottom look. I can’t see my brake lights, so don’t care about the extra output.

But hey if you like the look that’s cool too. Happing modding.
