GEN 2 Freon type

Just wondering Freon type in 2020 Raptors. My 2017 Tacoma turns out that it uses the new 1234 type that nobody has and is willing to purchase the equipment I've found out. Only the dealers have the equipment...grrrr. Noticed on one website that only some Ford cars currently have the new type. Seems the EPA might even change their mind on formulas on coolant hence the hesitation for shops to purchase the equipment. Plus the cost of 1234 per pound is insane.

It’s called refrigerant. Might’ve helped with your google. Coolant goes in the radiator.

Sorry, thanks my bad. Was looking for refrigerant type in the Raptor. Mine hasn't arrived yet so can't look for the placard for info.

Yes the 1234YF is stupid expensive. We service the systems at our facilities. Some of the later model Fords do have it. Random. Rather interesting. You should not have to worry about it though. The new systems are soooo much better.
