Just got my new raptor and have been playing with all the modes. when you switch into rock mode it automatically select 4L. My question is, when I go from rock back to normal, is the truck supposed to automatically go back to 2H?

Yes, it is. I've had mine not do that on two different occasions. Both times the mode said Normal, but the shift out of 4L had obviously not happened. The second time I did a rolling neutral stop to make sure that there was no tension on the drivetrain. The first time I did the forward and backward thing for that. No shift either time with multiple tries. First time, turning the ignition off and on again allowed me to shift modes. The second time, I shifted from the normal that wasn't to mud/sand, got the mode change to 4H, and then shifted from mud/sand into normal. Annoying. Software bug? Hardware problem? I don't know. What I do know is that if it doesn't get any worse, I'm not letting Ford touch it. :)

Edit: typo

Thanks for the reply, I've got to have them change a fan in the passenger seat, so i may ask if its a known issue. if not, I may do like you, and not let them touch it lol.
