OEM Shocks - Do they need to be rebuilt?

I've done some searching, but it's still unclear whether or not you have to have the OEM shocks rebuilt and what mileage.

Sorry if this is a lame question but I am new to both trucks and the Raptors.

Did mine at 53k and the rebuilds are definitely better so I’d say they were due. I used the exchange program at Forged Off-road. They send you rebuilt shocks, then you install them and send your cores back to them for the next guy. No downtime for your truck doing it this way. So far my experience has been great. Just waiting for them to inspect my core returns and the refund my deposit ($600).
