Milestar Patagonia yay or nay?

Yes ,I used the search Luke, anyone have experience running the Milestar Patagonia AT or MT? For just about half what the Toyo's and other such brands are running seems like a great deal, just thought I would ask and see if I could get some input.

Depends on how you use the truck. If its a street/garage queen it probably doesn't matter.

Tires are what connect your SVT to the surface, seems a short sighted place to get cheap. Stock size ko2 are $200 more a set.

For $200 more I like how the KO2s look, but then again I don’t drive enough to warrant road tires.

There's more to the tires than just looks...
OP lives in Golden, it snows there, snows on the mountains near there, snows on the passes. They are excellent in snow and snowflake rated.
There are places in Colorado wide open enough to really open up the raptor. The Milestar are a Q rated tire, 99mph. BFG are an S rated tire, 112mph and yes that makes a difference.
BFG is an American company, you can look at your DOT number, the tires will be made in Tuscaloosa, AL, Wooburn, IN and Opelika, AL. Milestar is a Chinese company, the tires will be made in the PRC, profits will go to the PRC. To me this is worth $50 a tire even if they were exact equivalents.
The BFG are a c rated tire, which is perfectly suited to the raptor and ride well. The Patagonias are D rated. You will notice a difference in ride quality between these.

The biggest problem with the KO2 is they tend to chunk out when drifted in the dirt, if you run hard in the dirt they may not be an economical option.

I've never run them but the JL Wrangler people love them for their uses.

I switched from KO2's to General Grabber At2's and now ATX's. They're cheaper than KO2's, have an aggressive look and are beasts in the snow (snow rated, fyi). They'll be my choice of tire as long as I've got a truck.

BFGoodrich is owned by Michelin, a French company. The tires are made all over, mostly US market tires are made here though. Milestar is a Taiwanese company.
Hard to compare KO2s to Patagonias, as Patagonias are a mud tire, KO2s are an all terrain tire.
If you are looking for a US company tire, you need to look at Cooper/Mastercraft/Dean tires, Goodyear, or Interco tires (Swampers). Most of these brand of tires are made in USA, Interco has some made in China though.
As for C/6 ply rated vs. D/8 ply rated, just depends, you use them offroad? I have pushed a rock through the tread on the OE KO2s on my '18 SuperCrew Raptor (I would have gotten rid of the KO2s, but don't want to give away $1500 worth of tires). Most good all terrain or mud tires have a 3-ply sidewall, it is the tread ply rating that helps with tread punctures.
As for all terrain vs. mud tires, go with what you want, the OE KO2s are the only non-mud tires I have run in like 16 years, and am just using the non-studded tire season to wear through them and replace with mud tires (my winter tires are TOYO MTs siped and studded for winter, and all of my mud terrain tires on my Raptor and my Jeep are 10-ply).

A lot of tire brands do not make a D/8. They go from C/6 to E/10. BFG KO'2s are that way. Original Raptor KO's were D/8.
