Hey everyone,

I purchased a 2019 raptor 802A from a dealer here in Canada exactly 10 days ago. I traded in my 2020 Ford F-150 lariat 502A special edition for it, they picked my truck up exactly 7 days ago and took it do a different province
( kind of like a different state for you u.s.a guys)

They still don’t know when I’m getting my truck, they promised me last Friday, than Monday, than Wednesday, than tomorrow and now they won’t answer my calls. They stated they don’t have control over shipping, if that’s the case than why are you lying to me about delivery dates?

What would you guys do in my situation ? I’m paying 1800$ for shipping both ways. The GM offered a 300$ discount for what’s going on however I thought I would ask you all for any tips/tricks in regards to appropriate action in a situation like mine.

I just want my truck.... they picked up my truck in 24 hours of making a deal, so why does their truck take 10-14 days +?!

Can’t believe they would take the trade-in before giving you a vehicle. The $300 is a start, but I would say at least double that if your already starting a second week. I would say keep asking for discounts until they say no. Or try to get free services

They can tell where it’s at, it just takes a little work on their end. Hell, I can tell what packages are coming from USPS, where my amazon stuff is, where my UPS, FEDEX etc. stuff is, so if they’re telling you they can’t tell you where your truck is or when you’ll get it, they’re lying.

Good luck.

I’m definitely quoting this to the dealer

yikes..... I now it is hind sight.....but i would never given money for a truck not on the lot.

And never give up your vehicle unless you are given one in trade on the spot (or cash)

unfortunately I bought it another province / state over the phone so they came to get mine next day. Paperwork was signed at a local dealer.

They sent a shipper from their province within 24 hours, but to get the new one it’s taking weeks.
