lee power steering pump

hello guys

I'm writing again about my raptor power steering pump that keeps making noise ( new pump ecc). I bleeded the system correctly ( vaccum pump ecc), I mounted the rpg reseivor but still creaks...

has anyone used the lee performance pump? is a good product and does anyone know if it can fix the noise?

I want to solve the problem haha

I have the Lee kit on my truck, works awesome. Been on there 2.5yrs, 55k miles now. No issues.

I also have the Lee system on my truck and it's been awesome. I've put it through many multi-day trips through the desert, Baja, etc. and it's held up great. I would recommend it.

In my opinion you could preface the pump with ford oem 10 times over before matching the cost of the Lee. I know you said you bled it correct with the vacuum pump but all I did was jack up the front end motor off and turn the wheel lock to lock to flush out the old fluid, replaced the pump, filled it up, turn the wheel to fluid comes out the lines, secure lines fill and turn wheel lock to lock until fluid is at the correct level.

Have had zero issues since. What bleeding process are you using are you potentially running a dry pump during the process?

it's the pump, increase the noise with high rpm

yes I bleeded the system with the front tires raised off the ground, and at the start with the motor off. i followed the process indicated by ford

Something seems off then for sure. I did the ps pump the exact way you did and have zero noise out of mine. You are using atf right?

Was the system flushed before the new pump was installed?
