Something's not adding up, unless the battery dropped down in voltage and that can cause all of the havoc. I had that happen and my 18 had to go back to the dealer to get the BCM reloaded and actually there was an update available. Once it was done it was like nothing ever happened. Like many member`s have stated keeping the battery voltage up is a major player in the BCM. Like most Tuners suggest that you have a battery tender or charger on the battery while installing the tune

Ford Tech One might have some input on this that can point you in the right direction, I believe in the past he has stated the importance of having the battery kept fully charged.

Please keep us up to date, hopefully it's a simple program or update of the BCM by the dealer

Looks like that may be the DC to DC converter control module. Below is a pinout for it. List start signal at pin 2 but also a few fuses that you may want to look at. (if this is the correct module)

Thanks for all the info and help on this. Talked with the tech working on my truck and he said that the module that got unplugged is a voltage regulator. He also said that after running a diagnostic to each module, the PCM is not communicating thus is why I have all those power train items not working (hill descent, cruise, etc etc.) I asked specifically about the BCM and he said he got it to communicate but thinks when the VR was plugged back it it might have voltage shocked the PCM. They are ordering a new one, which is a 2 day delivery, which means best case is I get the truck back Wednesday.

Are they covering this under warranty?

they are going to try. I don’t really care either way since the shop that screwed it up will pay for it regardless.
I hear ya, would just be less stressful for everybody if Ford ended up warrantying it. Does the equipment the shop installed actually work? Or is it going back there afterwards.

ha! Wouldn’t that just be the icing on the cake!? Yes it works, I tested it prior to finding out the truck wouldn’t start. It’s all ready for a run next weekend except this issue. ‍♂️
