I have tried comparing the changes in the 12th generation vs 13th generation Ford F series, but did not see any concrete evidence of interior cab space.

I am wondering if the space on the floor in the back seat (rear leg room perhaps) is the same between both Gen 1 and Gen 2 SCREWs?

I occasionally travel long distances with my two dogs, so they ride in the back seat with the bench seats up. Just wondering if I can expect the same space.

I think it's the same, but on a side note, do you just let the dogs lay on the carpet or do you put a bed down on the floor for them? I have a cover for the back seat designed for dogs, so mine lay on the actual seat.

I have beds that I lay on the mat. I would use a cover for the backseat, but the floor space offers more surface space for them to sprawl out and try to get comfy.

Thanks for the update Everetto, I actually had a Gen 2 about a year ago and the dogs fit great! But now I am on the hunt for a Gen 1.

I was hoping the Gen 1 had similar/exact interior space as the Gen 2s. I didn't articulate my question very well in my initial post. Oops.

@Capt-Brunch I have A Dutch shepherd and a Labrador retriever and they both went in my setup easily.

I use Orvis 2x Foam backseat extenders and then the hammock and it is a very solid setup....I could be persuaded to throw them in for free to a fellow dog lover on a purchase of a certain truck...

It almost feels like you're starting to twist my arm! Haha

Great idea on the backseat extender too. Normally I just put the beds on the floor mat, and it gives my dogs a chance to sit upright to look out the windows, but this would give them an even better view.

Yeah the dogs love to look out the windows obviously so I try to keep them up at a higher level so they stay off the doors and can just enjoy the ride. My lab really loves looking out the back window a lot for whatever reason. But having those extenders is awesome, it gives them a solid footing anywhere in the back seat with basically no holes for them to fall into and they fit the raptor nicely
