my 2019 does the same thing, when we slow down until stop or when we hit the pedal to speed up the clunking noise happens, I think it is a transmission catch up the gear but not smooth that is why. That clunking noise makes me feel bad when I have a this new raptor. Now I know why Toyota is more reliable

I'm with you man.. I've had my 2018 for a year and a half and I've had it in for this issue a few times only to get the typical.. "it's normal" blaa blaa blaa.

No excuse for this crap in a 80k plus vehicle. Ford needs to get it resolved. Or this will be my last new Ford truck.

Mine happens on slow speed rights or slow driveway articulation sometimes. I figured it was my Deavers or something but since some on here have stock leafs then who knows.

Ive also lubed everything up a few times as every time I take it out hard it comes back squeaky. The random clunk remains though.

My 17 makes the noise under these circumstances as well. Did you ever determine the root cause? Thanks. My truck is completely stock. Very annoying.

My 2018 F150 did this. It was the drive shaft spline. They greased it and all was better.
My 2020 Raptor does it once in a while, but it's just annoying, not harmful.

Thanks for the advice. I will get them to grease it the next time I have it by the shop.

My 19 has a mysterious thump, I thought it was a rock coming loose from the tire when my speed increased? Now I have to grease the driveshaft spline and see if it goes away?

Heard this for the first time today on my ‘20. I just filled up with gas, and about a mile or two later at very slow speeds I heard this clunk twice. I stopped to look under the car assuming I was going to see something stuck in there. So strange. I’ve got about 5,000 miles on it and heard this for the first time today.

I had to do this on my 99 Ranger. Every few months it needed a spray of white lithium grease and it would stop binding and be silent.
