Right on, nice. Thanks for all the details. Hey, did you have to work in front of the radiator at all? I ask because I've got my intercooler, brackets, hoses out in front, and hoping I don't have to deal with that. I'd like to do this before next summer.

I guess what I'm trying to ask is, you pulled everything out between the radiator support and the engine, toward the rear, right?

Oh, yeah. Unbolt fuse box, disconnect from battery, tied it up to the motor, removed fans, air box/intake tube, and hoses. Lean rad back, unclip the condenser bracket and set it back inside the core support, and the remove the rad..

So, as I expected, this radiator kicks ass. Haven’t towed yet, but I can see it working in the oil temp. Sitting idling the oil will get up to 180-190. But once at a cruising speed, the oil very quickly gets down to 140-150* because the radiator is cooling the coolant so much. I’m glad I held off on an oil cooler for now. Will see how it does towing in the heat next summer.

Will report on trans temps after next off-road outing.

Excellent. Looking forward to seeing those trans temps. I’m running the larger cooler so I know what difference that’s made. Basically much quicker recovery and 8-10 degrees lower average temps. I’ll be hoping to install this radiator over the winter.
