Who here has ever in their life plugged their own tire? Just curious. I never have.

At the most a portable compressor has been used to keep a tire inflated long enough to limp to a proper shop
Plug kit is 5.99
Tire repair is $20 plus.
I have a plug kit in every car. I have probably plugged 100 tires in my life.

Once you have the kit a simple nail or screw takes less time than it takes to drive somewhere and I have never had one fail,

Yeah... I have a bike tire repair kit ... 2 of them I think, but never provisioned one for the Rap and... left my doggone tool bag at the house.

working on some tool redundancy and permanent truck stock now.

Oh ,,, yes I am over 45. I’d rather plug my own tire than have some hack scratch the rim mounting tires. I even plugged the sidewalk on my moms 1980 Honda prelude. The plug lasted 30000 miles till the tire wire out. I have plugged track tires that held up repeated runs over 155 mph.

I'm an old guy but I have found that nails usually wear longer than the tire - Had 7 in one truck tire years ago. The heads mushroomed and sealed. I also used a tire inflation repair kit - some kind of sealing foam. I was lazy during a portion of my life LOLOLOL

you ran a plugged tire to 155 repeatedly?

you sir, are a moron. no other way to put that. 100% unsafe for you and those around you.

on the hacks scratching rims. I had that happen once, I was being really picky though.........and they replaced the rim with a new one at no charge.

Sorry Snowflake, I also drank out of the garden hose.
