On a related note, I was watching the miles to empty readout while filling up the other day. The number kept climbing till it hit whatever number then stopped climbing even though another 2-3 gallons were pumped in. Didn't change after I drove off either.
I didn't overfill, just let it click once and done. I guess the float in the tank was all the way up but still room in the tank. All that to say, we are probably getting more actual miles per tank than the readout says. Probably however long it takes for the needle to move off full.
I had just never thought about it I guess.

Yes , I noticed that too and thought clearly the DTE is driven more by electronic algorithms than actual fuel in the tank.

Filled up today and it said 603 lol. Lets see how far that'll go with EVAP issues.

Ya -that was 2 weeks of highway out to the Badlands and Yellowstone. Last summer to Hilton Head only got me mid 600s
We road tripped Oklahoma to Moab and I noticed better fuel economy out west also maybe better gas or just the altitude??....mmmm

520-540 running 93 octane, never seen anything higher. Haul/tow ATV’s, fire wood, and camping gear 2-3 times a month.

My screw consistently says 450-470, so I must have a heavier foot than most of you. I have the MPT 93 PRX tune and a bunch of noise-maker mods which prevent me from driving slow...

You also have 37's per your sig. Have you corrected for the change in tire size to accurately reflect true miles driven?

Filled up today with 91. Getting about 550. Highest I’ve seen so far in 4500 miles.

Wife and I took a drive from our place on Ashley Lake to Spotted Bear River rd (NW Montana) for a little fly fishing. It’s 200ish miles round trip with over 100 miles on dirt roads going around Hungry Horse Reservoir. The wife likes a relaxed ride so.... Thought I’d find out what kinda “miles to empty” I’d get after excursion. Don’t think I’ll ever see this again:
