GEN 2 Ram really has some pretty big complexes to deal with...

I'm sorry guys but I like the truck, I like the Easter eggs and I like the competition. Love my 802a but I cant deny that I'm very interested in the TRX.

I have to agree about competition. This is the kind of thing grown ass men should be swapping barbs over rather than the topics that dominate life in America of late.

And I would much rather have Dodge defacing their truck with schoolboy graffiti than watch another Prius commercial telling me that if I buy one I am a good person who cares about the planet. Dodge is our partner in keeping cool cars and trucks alive. Someday driving a Raptor will be a hate crime against the planet.

Competition is a good thing, it expands markets and drives technology forward at a much better pace than when there is no competition. But it's also Ok to talk sh*t about Dodge too. ;-)

They have been hiding Easter eggs for a long time, they are all over different model Jeeps especially the Wrangler, If I remember correctly Lee Iacocca even hid one on one of the cars he was involved with

My assessment so far based on the little info we have:

Interior is better than current Raptor. The rearview mirror is awesome and the styling is great. Materials seem up to *****.
Engine HP/TQ is better than current Raptor. If the Gen2 Raptor came with 700hp we'd have dreuled.
Suspension might be as good or better with the rear coils...a lot to find out on this one.

Raptor exterior styling is way better
Raptor Reliability is way better at least based on historical Fiat/Dodge problems
2021 Raptor hasn't even been announced yet.
at 100k I'll keep my ecoboost. When I configured my truck if there was a supercharged v8 700hp option for 25k I'd have said pass.
Raptor is proven and took the time with Gen1 and Gen2 to run it in the baja 1000 to give it cred. Fiat is unproven
Shoot me before I run lights in the hood scoop...lol

It's too late. I was told I was an Eco Terrorist by driving my Raptor.

I was mature about it, I told them where they could stick their Eco sh*t! (the Marine in me came out)...:33:

Same old Power Wagon mentality.
Yup, for those of us who remember Plymouth and Chrysler the "King Kong Dodge Power Wagon" of the 70's the TRX is yet another attempt to out-Ford big Trucks. Once again it falls short IMHO. Why?
I drove my Stepsons new Rebel recently and it's nice,,handles well and is well appointed much like the TRX. But it Ain't in the same league with the Raptor.
I have owned three Toyotas (Tacoma, Tundra and Hilux) and a 78' F250 back in the day. None of them come close except the Tundra TRD Pro which I also really like.
Still ain't a Raptor...

Bottom line is Dodge once again is trying, albeit in vain to measure up. Chevy is stuck in the past and way behind and Ford once again is setting the pace in the market. Time will tell how many people buy the TRX over a Raptor with a Shelby engine...

PS: Toyota's will still be running when all the others check engine lights are permanently on...:)
