Wheel guards

I have a 2018 Raptor with Roush upgrades. It comes with plastic wheel guards that are supposed to be red but are really maroon.

I am looking to replace them with true red color guards.

Here is my question.

The wheels currently have 24 locking screws.

The only ones i can find in red have 12.

I can't tell if these will line up and work.

Have you considered taking your off and possibly bringing them to a body shop tp have them painted red if your not able to do it yourself? CJPonyparts sells the complete set of Roush 20x9 wheels and tires with red and black trim rings How old are your wheels?

Maybe they can get you just a set of replacement trim rings that are truly red or a spare set that you can paint

Wheels are new.

I like the idea of painting them.

Need to figure out what they are made of.

Feels like plastic which will be difficult to paint, i think.

The Rings that have 12 are the beauty rings for a factory Raptor Beadlock wheel. You need to figure out who makes the Roush wheel and find the "wheel guards" for that wheel. Also, The factory beadlock Beauty ring is for a 17" wheel as yours is a 20" wheel.


Edit: Looks like Vision Nemesis 111 to me.

Vision makes those wheels for Roush. Those look like Nemesis. I don't know if they would sell the rings separately, but the non-Roush Visions only have black or grey rings.

Dont they come it two sets? A red and a black one?

A good and reputable body shop can paint plastic parts with no problem. They use adhesion and flex promoters to make sure the paint does not flake off or crack, similar to when they paint plastic bumpers.

Hydro dipping is another solution but I think getting it painted by a body shop would be easier/cheaper.

Painting plastic is not an issue for anyone to do, you just need the right paint. I have plenty of Jeep Friends that have used the Dupicolor/VHT plastic spray paint on thier fender flares and other plastic parts which are all over Jeeps now a days inside and out
Excellent video from CJPonyparts that I know a lot of my Jeep friends followed and had outstanding results

According to one Vision wheel retailer the 20" Nemesis only has 16 bolts not 24, and your rings have 16 bolts in the picture not 24??

Agreed. I did my interior with PPG. Came out great. Prep is the key.

Ford performance parts has always offered the painted rings for Gen2 17 wheels but not thereafter unfortunately
