GEN 2 Exhaust questions

Ok... so who out there put on exhausts only to take them off and go back to stock? Am I crazy to have total buyer regret???

If you bought one that deletes the resonator try going with just a catback instead. Removing it creates some major rasp which is some people's thing, but others hate the sound.

Got Corsa muffler and x pipe... guess my favorite has been muffler only... tried all three setups....

Interesting. How would you describe the difference between X-Pipe only and muffler (cat back) only? I have X-Pipe only and I like it. It does get a little raspy while the exhaust is cold at low-mid throttle, but that goes away. I did just the X-Pipe because I thought the cat back sounded more obnoxious in Corsa's videos. I like volume but wouldn't mind a smoother sound.

I went through 3 or 4 different set up and they all sound like shit LOL .
1st one is AWE exhaust, 2nd is flowmaster, 3rd one is Ford Performance by Borla, 4th is borla resonator with stock exhaust.
Went back to all stock as it sounds best and just loud enough. Save your money on something else. Exhaust and intake are useless in my opinion, not worth the money spend

I put one AWE and very little drone and only a bit louder than stock, that is till you get on it and sounds awesome.

Not as raspy.... gonna go with it for a little while to give it some time... I did like muffler pretty well but them bought x pipe but full extreme was too loud..::: I think when x pipe hopefully breaks in I’ll go back to it

What was wrong with the Ford Performance? I'm looking at it.
