GEN 2 Driveshaft lip seal leak?

Hey guys!

I was just under the truck doing some installs when I noticed that my lip seal on my driveshaft looks very clean & oily. Is this normal?
(FYI below picture is a different F-150 truck but the lip seal looks just like mine - red box - disregard yellow).

If you're not seeing any drips on the ground, it may be from the original assembly of the components. I've seen that before on Super Dutys. Clean it with a shop towel and some brake cleaner and keep an eye on it.

Did you clean the underbody? If there a leak, it would have spun crap in the area from the rotation and there would be some clean up there too.

the second pic looks clean under.
