Awesome review! I just ordered mine throw neo as well. I can’t wait to install them. Any tips on the front end set up?
thank man! my advice is to make sure you measure the height of the truck with the new shocks on them before they are 100% fully installed. SVC recommends 10-11 threads of preload on them. the ratio for the coils is 2:1. for every half inch of preload is an inch height on the truck. i dont know how many threads of preload i have, but i didn't want to be as hard on the drivetrain and the CV joints so i wanted to raise the front a little less than 2 inches. i also predict ill be carrying more of a load in the bed in the future, so i went with option 2 and a 1 inch drop shackle (.5 inch drop on truck height). with the added weight ill sit level.

also, with the front end i would make sure to get the measurements correct on the live valve system. its in the directions but there is a sensor that measures the UCA angle to let the truck know what height its at. the directions mention this but i know you have the keep the measurements the same so you don't have to recalibrate the shocks

Two other questions (I’m new to these trucks and this suspension and my question will underscore that):

For the front shocks, they can be installed with no change in ride height/lift, correct? My truck sits exactly where i like it, and i don’t want to change that.

For the rears, the shocks have no effect on ride height, is that right?

thanks.

correct, the rear will sit the same. The front is adjustable, unlike the stock shocks. So, you can install them, check ride height, adjust accordingly by turning the preload collar. You will need to jack the front tires off the ground to take some of the load off the springs. Then turn the collars up or down to get the height you want. The springs will still have some preload on them after you jack the truck up, so its kind of hard to turn, but you can.

Ive looked everywhere and its almost impossible to find recommended settings for these things. I know everyone is different, but what are all your settings? I have the exact same set up as you and look for a good baseline

Really have no need for these what so ever RIGHT NOW, but following this closely as I've never been able to leave well enough alone.

Thank everyone for the feed back for the rest of us.

I did one inch of preload and it gave me exactly two inches of lift. That's what Fox claimed and it was spot on.
