A littme more on the Fastest Ford F150 to be built

There's no infrastructure yet for electric vehicles. I mean, yeah, there's charging stations if there is only a dozen electric vehicles on one route in a given day, but to mass produce electric vehicles, we are going to need charging stations ****** into parking meters and curbside parking spaces.

I agree with you 100% Offering charging stations will be the biggest obstacle. I have seen how they want to incorporate batteries into a trailer if you are towing. It's going to be interesting if they don't want you to go into water that is higher than the hubs on the truck

Yeah lots of work to do before the takeover but an overnight charger at home would satisfy a bunch of people. Something that doesn’t require a contractor to install would be a good start. Haven’t even seen much of that.

Correct. And if you want to see that change, offer the most popular vehicle in the USA as an electric. Bonus points for it being more powerful, faster than other models. Ford is damn good about shaking things out in testing, particularly as it applies to their trucks. They’re not perfect, or flawless, but very good. They’ll be doing stupid customer trick testing so that the new truck survives contact with 95% of the customer base. If they’re able to field a truck with comparable or competitive range, and better performance, they will seriously change some hearts and minds.

Do you mean a travel trailer or are you talking for commercial applications, either way, that's something trailer makers will not do, in my opinion, except for the self contained batteries.

I had seen a flatbed trailer that had the batteries installed under the base of it. I remember many years ago guys were running 2 alternators to charge the batteries in their camper/ trailers

I run two batteries in my trailer, but I can't see adding more weight for pleasure use scenario's, could see it for commercial use though at a large job site. The future is going to be exciting.

IDK, I live in rural Maine, Id say charging stations are neatly a easy to find as 93 stations.

Not sure I understand what you just wrote? Comparing charging stations to gas stations won't work, if that's what you meant. The average vehicle spends 5 minutes at a gas station now, converting them to electric charging stations, they would have to be the size of a parking garage to accommodate all the electric vehicles 20 years from now and fast charging I think takes at least 30 minutes if I remember correctly. I think Gas Stations will be a thing of the past in the future, there will have to be at least 100 charging stations at every major grocery store/strip mall to accommodate vehicles. I'm sure we will still see videos of women trying to put 93 octane in their Tesla's though.
