Has anyone experienced this? It's been raining pretty hard in Jacksonville and this past weekend when attempting drive away from a parking spot a large stream of rain water spilled out from the rear view mirror area all over me. I'm not talking like drops. It was a steady stream and the trim around it was soaked.

My guess is obviously sun roof, but should I be worried something is damaged or molding up there?

My only two complaints I've had in 4 months of ownership are:

1) The A/C smells like ammonia when I turn on the truck....still can't fix it....have taken it to Ford...

2) The sunroof leaks and according to Ford that's my fault and I have to pay $1,500 for it.

Besides that though, I'm infatuated and love that thing. Here's a shot the day it rained at a local marina, the rain hadn't gotten bad yet....

How's it your fault the sunroof leaks? Have you tried another dealer?

What year is the truck?

My guess it's the sunroof and the drain(s) are clogged already, and the water is making it's way down from the headliner.

I doubt it's the SiriusXm puck, but over time those can cause water to leak into the cab.

Haven't been told why it's my fault lol. I tried 3, I ended up going with the only dealer which would give me a loaner, which was in Saint Augustine, FL. But they can't get me a loaner until the 30th. So I'll just hope no more water gets in the cabin...can I clean the rails myself?

dont touch it. if they are already trying to say its your fault you dont want to give them anymore reason to deny you. you will probably need to call ford corporate to get this handled if the dealer wont fix it and you havent done anything to it
