I guess I was referring to the slew of Roush Raptors they had at like $70k.

Bought my truck from metro. They are okay but have stipulations and misleading advertising. You can still get a good deal but just do your diligence.
as an example, the price as advertised for those Rousch raptors likely doesn’t include the actual Rousch kit already installed that they will mark the final price up by.

What would be a good price to negotiate with them on this truck? It’s what I’ve been looking for and it’s close to the house.
Kelly Blue Book Value. Again, they offered 63. KBB was at 61, they’re selling it on the lot for 68. At that level, used doesn’t make sense. I think a fair price for mine would’ve been around the 59 mark, with 16000 miles...
Unpopular opinion but look around, find similarly equipped ones near and far and pay what it’s worth to you. Pay nearly $70k for a truck you’re gonna lose your ass if you sell it 2-3 years from now. If you keep it 10 years or more the extra 3-4k doesn’t mean anything. An 801a truck and an 802a truck is a difference of 8-10k new. Internet doesn’t always give you apples when you don’t specify oranges.

6 to 7 percent off msrp I believe is around invoice less holdback. That’s what I’d target for 2020. 2019 I’d pull for 10k off msrp. Deals aren’t going to be what they used to since production is more or less done.
I wouldn’t pay more than 61 for a truck with 16k miles when I can get a brand new one for 68

The Roush is what I spoke with them about; I was told that the price online was the price, but tax/etc. would be added. I asked specifically about whether 'other options' included the Roush kit. I was told that was part of the advertised price.
Granted, I didn't get very far with them since the next day my local dealer agreed to my offer (and took my trade). So it's entirely possible that if I had pursued it further things might have changed.
But, since I got my Roush here for $73k, and that was literally the only one I could find within a few hundred miles, I thought it entirely possible that a dealer with 12 of them would be willing to go lower.

I plan on keeping it for a while and giving it to my son when he turns 16 in 4 years. It’s the 802a with everything so I’ll try to beat them up a little. I appreciate everyone’s responses. Very helpful.
