I just talked to the school this morning. They are NOT having the evening program the night before due to COVID. It is not on their website and I don't know when you would find out-when you show up at 5:30 PM and the doors are locked? We tried calling yesterday mid day and they didn't call back until this morning and we already had hotel and plane reservations. Good thing I hadn't pushed the button and finished making my reservation at the school. So we will wait until later. For something as important as that they need to update their website.

I've been to several other sponsored Ford events-Track Day at Woodward and Flat Rock Assembly Plant tours etc and they have always been awesome, but the guy that called me from Raptor Assault was a real peach-hope that's not any indication of whats to come.

I attended the class on 9/11. It was an awesome experience and all racing school staff that were involved were very courteous and informative. Our instructors were really great. Don't let the phone call fool you.

Masks were required in the building, take them off to eat snacks/drink. In the trucks it was left up to the individuals preference. I felt safe but also unrestricted. Thought they handled it well.

Great school! The Baja course was a blast. The off road trail is challenging. The jumping was fun too. You'll pick up new skills, learn a lot about your machine, and have a great time. My partner and I did not wear a mask while in the truck - but most do as a courtesy. We had lunch on the trail at a great spot - no mask. Every one of my communications said the reception was a no-go from the very beginning - but that was just the evening before the course / real events :)

Did they take those jump pictures for y'all?

yeah. They have one of the ford photographers follow you around all day. He’ll zip past the group on his dirt bike and set up for some cool pics of every truck. At the end of the day you get a usb stick with all the pics he took.

As far as your own pics... Suction cup go pros are allowed.

Just finished my course today. What a blast. Beautiful scenery and fun trails. The truck is impressive. The instructors are great. Very informative as mentioned above. The most fun for me was using trail control in the desert. Lunch was good. Everyone there was really nice. I bought a bunch of Raptor swag. Very well run and organized. I was impressed. Have FUN!
