lol I remember that thread

so here’s a place you can check off!

treat that frame w/ some protectant if you intend to take it on beaches

Someone chose to inject politics and ruined it, then tagged the mods to get it closed when they were losing the argument :angry94:

I was looking at options for protecting it, probably the Amsoil spray. I can't see having the truck and not using it on Nauset and Race Point.

I've got another problem brewing for the move in 4 weeks. The paperwork in AZ is moving at a snail's pace with Covid, so I don't believe I'm going to have plates for the trip. The temp tag from the dealer in NM expired on 8/29. My buddy bought a Jeep in May from a dealer here in AZ and still doesn't have plates. My old man suggested I leave the truck here until the paperwork is clear, then ship the Raptor to MA. I told him if that's the case I'll just sell it in AZ when the paperwork clears. I need to call the dealer in NM and see if they can get me another month of temp tag. The AZ DMV has 6 hour hold times right now if you try to call.

Yeah good idea on that- I initially treated my truck w/ 6 cans of it, & subsequently 2 can touch up last year it has been holding up really great, pretty much “semi-permanent” by the looks of it

I’m moving to Cape Cod in a month.
I saw your post about waiting on DMV. Don't be concerned about it. My newest Raptor has temp plates as I bought it in Connecticut and I live in NY. The dealer does the registration. Said everything is backed up. My temp plates expired over 2 weeks ago. I've also got no inspection sticker which is required in NY. Dealer claims all their temp plates carry an automatic 90 day extension due to Covid. I don't really care if they are right or wrong. I've been freely driving it going past cops left and right and they don't even give me a second glance.

Yeah he’s right in MA they keep giving longer windows on renewing reg or inspection sticker

just make sure it’s properly insured
