Ford 0% Financing

My buddy owns several ford dealerships. No rebates and no special financing ever on ford performance vehicles. They save those gimmicks for XL trucks and other stuff that isn’t moving very well. They also use them heavily to get folks in asking about 0% on whatever, and then hook them at something low anyway. Sub 3% is cheap money.

In the loan market everything will be specific to your credit profile. I was going to pay cash for mine after my trade (which I owned outright) but Capital One gave me 1.7% for 72 months. Basic rule of thumb to cash vs finance is if you can do better keeping your cash invested, use the bank’s money.

We bought a Ford Performance vehicle with both factory rebates and 0% financing through Ford credit.

They weren't even my buddies either.

They didn't WANT to do it and said all the same BS they there's simply NO WAY that could happen and Ford won't allow it, blah blah. Somehow, they still made it happen. Maybe technically we didn't get both from Ford? We did get the same amount off though, either way.

You probably got a third party finance. FOMOCO does NOT finance SVT\Performance vehicles at 0%. Dealers many times have multiple avenues to offer financing.

No. We got a bill from Ford Credit yesterday for that vehicle as a matter of fact.

I bought it. I know who financed it. It was Ford Credit and it is a 0% loan. Take the $38,000 financed and divide it by 60- that's our payment.

It's a 2019 Ford Edge ST, which is a Ford Performance vehicle and we bought it new.

Edit: Like I said, I have a feeling we didn't "officially" get both the rebates and 0%, I think we got the 0% through Ford and the dealer essentially lowered the price enough for us to get the same price as we would have gotten with the rebate option instead. But we definitely get it financed through Ford credit at 0% for 60 months.

I see all the mention of financing, but not about the color. 2019 lead foot does not exist I thought. Must be the silver metallic?

Someone is good at reading comprehension.

2 blues, 2 reds, white, silver, gray and black. The gray is Magnetic in 2019.

I am not entirely sure about the meaning of your post? The OP said leadfoot. Maybe I should have said silver/metallic? I was just meaning the color is likely not leadfoot. I just don’t want OP to be disappointed if they are dead set on leadfoot, as it was available in 2018 and 2020, but not 2019.

OK- I take it back. Maybe you aren't good at reading comprehension.

I was giving you a compliment. You were the only one who caught the 2019 Leadfoot part of the post. I listed all the 2019 colors, which, as you pointed out, does not include Leadfoot gray.

Exactly; you can choose 0% or the rebates, but dealers have internal rebates that they can apply to lower the price as well.

Edge ST and Explorer ST are the only Ford Performance vehicles that qualify for special financing and rebates; the others are not applicable.
