I know some people received the FordPass message months ago about Sync 3.4 being available for download when it wasn’t for the Raptors but it’s finally here!

I saw that a forum member posted on the “What did you do to your Raptor today” thread about updating to Sync 3.4 so I checked the website and an update is in fact available. Total time between downloading/unzipping/installing was about 35-45 min.

When I run my VIN online it says there’s an update available. But when I check from the truck it says no update available. Sync screen shows 3.4 Build 19200 and the website shows 3.3.20136. Anybody do the upgrade manually? Any major updates?

the only thing that’s really annoying is that sometimes CarPlay doesn’t engage when I plug a phone in. When that happens, I have to turn car off and back on and it usually works. That’s quite annoying, but that’s the only real bug I have noticed. Other than, of course, the fact that the entire system is badly in need of a refresh! UX person must have been out sick the day it was designed :)

Over the years it's always sounded to me like the over the air / auto wifi updates don't work. I just finished mine up manually via usb and it works fine. Definitely really blue compared to 3.3. Seems like some new options when clicking into certain menus like apps. Honestly though those could have been there before and I just didn't notice.

Only issue I ran into was sirius xm not working. I had to login to my xm account and hit refresh signal to get it online again.
