I just switched over from an ADD stealthfigher front and honeybader rear to an ADD pro front and stock rear. I had rigid lights on the old ADD bumpers. I just put seven squadron pros on the front of my truck. I would like to put some lights on the back of the truck that turn on when I put the truck in reverse. That is what my rigid cubes used to do.

I also would like those same lights to function as utility lights. Something that puts out a lot of light in the back of the truck when hooking up a trailer or working outside at night. In addition to the lights turning on when I go in reverse, I would like them to turn on when I flip one of my aux switches.

What would you suggest? Thanks

We make a harness that does this. We offer it as part of our S1/S2 reverse kits OR as a stand alone harness. The harness lets you tie a pair of lights into your upfitter.

When purchased alone, it'll give you upfitter controller. When used in combination with an S1/S2 reverse kit, you can also have the lights come on automatically while in reverse

What's nice about our harness, is that we don't back-feed your tail lights. So when your lights are connected to our upfitter harness AND your reverse lights (coming on automatically when in reverse), turning them on from your upfitter DOES NOT turn your factory reverse bulbs on.

Which lights would you suggest based off of my needs above? What light pattern? Thanks

We have kits available for what you need. Available in the smaller S1 and standard S2 sizes. We run the S2 on our truck but a lot of customers are going with the new S1's as they are small/compact and put out a great amount of light.

Paired with our optional upfitter harness (mentioned above) you can control your lights from a switch OR when you go into reverse automatically

S1 Kit (Bolts under the bumper): http://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-ford-raptor-2017-s1-reverse-light-kit/
S1 Kit (Flush Mount, cut into the bumper): http://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-ford-raptor-2017-s1-flush-mount-reverse-light-kit/

S2 Kit (Bolts under the bumper): http://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-ford-raptor-2017-s2-reverse-light-kit/
S2 Kit (Flush Mount, cut into the bumper): http://www.4x4truckleds.com/baja-designs-ford-raptor-2017-s2-flush-mount-reverse-light-kit/

The S1 flush kit installs easier over the S2 flush kit, due to the size. I've seen folks do the S2 but you have little wiggle room.

Recently went with some BD squadron pro fog kit. My review is below from the 4x4truckled site:

Amazing lights! Thanks to help by the 4x4 team via Fordraptorforum.com for the help during questioning -> purchase. Living in the desert of the southwest, I needed a nice blend of amber (for dust) + clear (for normal). I went with 3 Squadron Pros (1 amber driving combo/1 clear wide/1 clear spot), and am happy I splurged a bit more for the ‘Pro’ over the ‘Sport’. Light output is incredible. The stock OEM headlamps leave much on the table from overall output and these BD lights really help. The stainless steel mount is very well built but the instructions could be a bit more clearly defined. I did have some struggle with the install and it took me well over 3+ hours to complete. There isn’t much room to work with to tighten everything up based on the stock bumper. Small tip is to turn the wheel outward for the side you are working on, and replicate on other side following. I can’t speak to other lighting brands but BD seems to be the very top from my research. The added ability to quickly change out the faceplates is a huge bonus. Buy these lights you won’t regret it.

Ford Super Duty (20-On), Fog Pocket Kits

On to the true work horse lights for this application, our 2020 Super Duty dual Squadron fog light kit. Our powder coated 304 Stainless Steel brackets are formed perfectly to the bumper to completely replace the fog light fascia and mount a Squadron SAE and your choice of squadron sport or pro series lights. Substituting the slim stock LED with a Squadron SAE + Sport/Pro combination provides exceptional lumen output for our Super Duty customers. Using either Ford upfitter switches or our stand-alone harness, our wiring solution will bypass the high beams to turn on all four lights at the flip of a switch. This wiring solution also preserves the OEM fog light functionality for the SAE Squadron pair using plug ‘n play adapters. Get ready for a tailor-made lighting setup that you can use in virtually any situation.

Each kit will come with the following items:
  • (2) Mounting bezels, stainless-steel powder-coated

Are the XL80 the same bolt pattern as the XL Sport?

It’s like you knew I was looking at supers yesterday....

Edit:

Never mind, found my answer on your web page. Nice that there is no need drill holes. Any chance you are going to offer a similar mount for a 40inch OnX6 arc bar

We know a lot guys on FRF have or want a Super Duty so we thought we would let you guys know what we've doing with them. :)

Correct, the difference between the XL Sport and XL80 would be the finish and the circuitry. But for the XL Linkable the housings are the same, gloss black powder coat with a hard coat anodize. It sounds like you're interested in an XL80 version of the XL Linkable? If so, shoot us a PM and I can see what we can do. We actually have a kit for the 40" Onx6 Arc on the Super Duty, check it out. https://www.bajadesigns.com/products/Ford-Super-Duty-30-40-Arc-Bar-Mount-Kit-17.asp
