Sorry. Misunderstood your post. Thought you were being sarcastic.
The tree huggers will love Elon's truck thinking they're saving the planet, not realizing the pollution created in production and disposal of the batteries.

There’s that...but the pollution created to CHARGE the batteries is paramount! Also- aside from pointing out that LI batteries aren’t get fully recyclable, there’s also the “ethical cost” of the whole mining on the backs of 3rd world countries/labor/corruption.....

I saw an article a year or two ago where they analysed whether electric cars were a win or loss for the environment. In Colorado, where we burn coal for electricity, it was a loss. And that's before you account for the batteries. If you haven't watched "Planet of the Humans", you should. Make by a tree-hugging lefty who calls out all the billionaires and big businesses that are making big green off the green movement. It's entertaining on many levels.

An hour to re-charge ain't gonna work. Simple as that. An hour to recharge every hour because you are towing in the mountains? Double nope.

All of these "causes" are a scam on the joiners / belongers to take more of their money.

I am salivating, but it will be a year or 2 at the earliest I imagine, especially since we are in an economic downturn as we speak, the likes of which we have never seen before. I hope we come out of it, but with as much printing as the Fed has done, I see some big inflation coming sooner than later. This will not bode well for vehicles of this type coming to market. That is why the C8 Vette, the Acura NSX and more were delayed years before they were released.

Rumor or not. If any little bit is true not many of us will be able to afford it. I can see in the option list... 750hp GT motor option $15,000. Lol

802A is $9k so $15k for 700hp is well worth it
