Crazy Mirrors

Hey fellow members, is any of this going on with any of your raptor mirrors? I have set the memory buttons, 12 and three and then did the whole lock and unlock thing with the fob to make sure that it was set but I’m still getting these possessed mirrors when I walk up to the truck and unlock it. Does anybody have any clue what this is, Goes away as soon as I hit the start button

Looks like your travel stop is broken is part of it. Is it still under warranty?

Still under warranty, it doesn’t do it every time though and when I hit the memory seat buttons they go always go back to the proper settings, strange,,,, Sometimes it’s the left mirror sometimes it’s the right, yesterday it was both LOL

Turn the truck on and push the mirror fold button, let them fold up, then push it again. This has happened a few times.

Looks like you have a ***** mirror there. Maybe get it a date?

I have the issue every now and than. Somethings the right and somethings the left, happens when folded or out, it doesn’t matter. Most the time it goes back to the memory setting but every now and than I have to reset the mirror that’s goes wacky.

Funny you posted about this. I’ve had my truck since May, and other than the passenger door IA not working, the truck has been flawless.

Last week, the right mirror did exactly the same thing, didn’t really think twice about it. Then this week, the left.

I have to have the dealer look at the passenger IA. Been putting it off, cause service has not been great last few times I’ve been there. But, I’ll suck it up and go soon, and have them investigate the mirror issue as well.

Hoping a BCM reset is all both problems need.

Have the same. I learned to ignore it because it eventually quits doing that and behaves.
