..when September ends?

Years ago (if anyone from Edmonton reads this back me up) there was a radio station that ran the "really hard contest" where people would just do really hard a dumb stunts to win a years supply of maple syrup or something... there was a guy who locked himself in a room on September 29th listening to just the 10 second chorus of that song.

Needless to say, I feel like that guy locked in a closet and V8/Gen3/TRX threads are my Green Day.

Good luck with that and keeping the power on........consumers, not Governments should decide the future.
I do not know how they will manage to do any of this, there is no where near enough charging stations for cars today, the infrastructure needed to pull this off in less than 20 years would cost trillions of tax payers dollars. I want to keep my Trillion $ for myself :birgits_tiredcoffee

Not sure where you’re at but I mentioned the same thing in another post. California wants to go all electric by 2040. Dealerships want the California market and correct me if I’m wrong, they usually pander to said market because of its size and make California acceptable vehicles across the board for markets that don’t require as strict of requirements
British Columbia, and California are working together to achieve this, would not be surprised if Washington State and Oregon follow suit.

Competing with the TRX performance wise probably means competing with it financially as well. Say hello to 60-65k base MSRP if they put the 5.2in it and change much up.

Yep, all 702 trucks sold out in just a matter of hours, but that's not exactly shocking. All gone. Ram's ready to rival the Ford F-150 Raptor with the TRX, and judging by the pickup's reception, numerous fans are, too. Case in point: The 2021 Ram 1500 TRX Launch Edition sold out in just 3 hours.
2022 will be next raptor from my dealership!

That would be cheap.

Yup and Cali is a perfect example of that. They killed the natural gas for more environmental friendly energy and they can’t keep the power on with high 80 low 90 degree weather. Growing up in South Fl that’s an everyday thing and we didn’t need rolling black outs. The California gov has failed their people in soooo many ways. The proof is in the mass exodus. Let’s just hope all those Cali refugees don’t California where ever they go ie vote for the same shit they are fleeing from.

Back to the Raptor. I can’t see ford going V8. Why get dragged back into the mud with a company who needed bail out money to survive. In the end it’s all about that dollar. Keep pushing toward the future and keeping up with the times and continue to thrive. FCA is chasing Ford and Ford is chasing the future and not looking back
