I received an out of office reply, hope to hear from them by Friday (?). Not having ANY luck getting anything below MSRP in Socal.

I'm also reaching out further than Vegas, but need to consider my time (1-3 days?) and/or shipping costs ($1500-2000) to the deal.

DINOZR put together this spreadsheet:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1cYnJMNFjBYFPt9TN9SDEcL828S52bQnn/view?usp=sharing

It has a place for adding shipping costs so you can compare apples to apples. You can add the cost of your time to it too.

I think I am going to do what svt1998gt is going to do and hit up dealerships at the end of the quarter. I have been searching for high volume Ford dealers in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Arizona, etc.. I think I would like the drive to force me to not do work.

His sheet is great. It helped us immensely. Had to make a few adjustments to suit our needs but the numbers in it were awesome. Funny enough we ended up buying in state as it just made more sense for us but the hunt out of state was fun while it lasted. Good luck!

I'm just seeing this thread, but l bought a New 19 Ruby Red 802A SCREW from Crain Ford in Little Rock a week ago at a nice list price (67K/wouldn't budge). I did the entire deal over text while at work, and by time I got home they were sending me the paperwork.

Shipping however has been hell for both the dealer and myself. Brokers either can't find a driver or the rig isn't wide enough, so I just booked an impromptu 1600mi road trip to bring my baby home. At least she'll be broken in by time we make it back!

Interesting - I'm in the process of buying the Blue one that Crain Ford had. I may also do the same thing as coordinating reasonable shipping from just NE of Little Rock is a little painful. It'll be a heck of a 3 day drive though...

Question - when you say the rig wasn't wide enough - I assume you were trying to get covered transport?

I had a Gen 2 and a Gen 1 shipped enclosed from Texas with no problems on the width. It's was close, but nothing not sweat about. Next time let me know, I'll provide their info.

FYI got back home after a LONG extended road trip, but would do it again (no further than Arkansas tho lol) I worke w/ Flint; he even dropped the truck off to the hotel after I landed (had to get the family settled 1st).

I decided to bite the bullet on the front end and do 8hr days(made 10hr w/ some exploring;)) fri/sat. Made for a short drive in from Phoenix today!

I was only looking for non-covered. Went for days w/ no reply, and when one driver came through, he backed out when he found out it was a Raptor! I'm sure if there wasn't a pandemic, there wouldn't be an issue.

I shipped my bike out when I 1st got stationed here w/ no issues.
