In the middle of replacing the ps pump. But I decided like many to buy a bigger reservoir and cooler. But as I’m looking at the lines the supply line coming out of the factory resevor goes straight into the thin cooler that sits in front of the radiator. But this is also the same cooler that the a/c lines run to.

so now I’m confused cause why would the ps lines go to there. And if they do hook to that cooler why tf would I need another cooler?

Umm, you should recheck, the a/c lines go to the condenser which is the bigger coil in front of the radiator, last |I checked. I'm going outside to look, your engine is filthy too!

My a/c lines go into the condenser only, which sits in front of the radiator, the thin condenser coil. Those other lines are confusing as they go into the radiator and the small cooler in fornt of the radiator at the bottom, i didn't go under my truck to look further.

Yeah I do not recommend running without fender liners...cleaning is a whole other project on the list

On the driver side of the condenser, the thin radiator in front of the actual radiator the ps lines go into the top of it.

i believe theres an internal seperator in there
Ok so I cleaned it up a little the smaller line(supply) that comes out of the ps reservoir is the rubber hose in the pic. It follows around and into a block on the condenser, then the other larger rubber line that turns into a metal hp line goes down to the steering rack.

Another shot. These are the two “high presser” supply lines to the rack. They go into that condenser? Or there is a block off plate? Wtf would ford do this and not just run straight out of the reservoir?

I looked on the drivers side, they were running into the radiator, not the condenser coil. Jees, do i have to go look again, I better not be wrong, I hate being wrong
