Constant Power Outlet

My father has a 2019 and is in NY. They got hit with the storm and power has been out for the day. He needs to charge his cell phone. Does anyone know if there is a location that the phone can charge on a 19 without starting or putting the key into accessory? Sorry for such an easy question but the power might be out for a day or two there and I need them to have phone service for emergencies. Thanks in advance. Man I hope the 2021 comes with the built in generator.

There is a thread on this in the FORSCAN section i can't remember off the top of my head but there is a FORSCAN mod that can be done to keep power constant. But based on the information you are given i'm assuing more than likely he doesn't have FORSCAN available to him.

Yea he does not. Thanks for the answer. I figured there were some outlet that could be constant. I had one on my old truck that was always on. Looks like they got hit hard. No power now for a few days.

You try the two USB slots on the back of the center console? Not totally sure but feel it supplied power to my kids iPads while no key was on. Not totally sure though.

Correct the two USB slots on the back of the center console are constant active.

My Cadillac had a fuse you could swap to a different slot to pick always on or switched for the cigarette lighter receptacle.

Also, you probably could check the manual.

The power emergency is over however I wanted to update this thread that the back USB do not have constant power either. As of right now I am not sure if anything on his 2019 has a constant power.

Try the accessory port in the center console and put in a USB adapter. I think it's always hot, but I might be wrong.
