or one like it without the GoPro mount? Or the one I link to on the bottom?

I've used their mounts in multiple vehicles and generally like them. This one looks like a strap across the top of the dash and I'm not sure I'm liking it. I do like the idea of being able to attach a gopro to it however, even though I have a dashcam.

I know they have much more stealthy designs and am deciding between a right hand console mount and the above one.

This is the right hand console mount.

I think I'd rather have the BuiltRight Industries dash mount in the storage pocket. It allows much more flexibility by using Ram mounts and accessories. I was looking at having one magnetic mount for my phone day to day and a second setup that would mount my ipad above the radio screen for offroad trips.

That second mount on the right side of the console is far too low for me to see while driving, might as well throw the phone in the cupholder.

I use the ProClip mount you mention. I really like it. It is really solid and keeps hold of my phone firmly. I really don't notice the strap look anymore at all. I was initially nervous about the look, but I like it.

Ah, grasshopper, listen to Master Po for a moment. Do you have experience with the BuiltRight? I had it on my truck I traded in and I liked it. I did not remove it, however. I did remove the cool D67 CF arms though.

Why didn't I remove it, a number of reasons, not the least of which is once you pop that piece up and away from the dash to install it, it's very easy to break a clip or two and I wound up with that whole section not sitting back snugly and rattling. I was not able to remove the balls off it without popping the entire tray out again. Didn't want to chance breaking it.

As a result, I also left the part I installed in there which permanently shut the PIA auto stop start off.

I want to go another route with a lot of pieces for this truck to make it different. I do ty for suggesting it though.

I've been using the Center mount ProClip in my 2019 since I got the truck, and had a proclip in my 2013 Expedition and loved it, that is why I got one for my 2019 Raptor

I'll add to the "pro" ProClip trend... I've had one in every car I've ever owned and like their stuff. I was worried about how that top strap was going to look - but honestly, you don't notice it that much. It keeps my iPhone 11 Pro (big one) at the near-perfect spot for me while driving and just run a wire up for CarPlay that stays out of the way. I might still opt for the BuiltRight piece for iPad and GoPro useage, like the way it looks ... but for daily phone use the ProClip is spot on.

As an alternative you can try this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GHV33KY/?tag=fordraptorforum-20

for 15.00 it's hard to go wrong. I've decided that there is no perfect solution and it depends on your priorities. I decided to give this thing a try and found it met my basic needs, was easy to use and very cheap. I don't mount my phone regularly so your needs may vary.

And to make matters 100000000 times worse, I'm laying in bed typing this and my French Bulldog is sleeping between my wife and me and FARTING. He just melted my olfactory glands.

I use this mount and it works fine. I didn't like the look at first but now I don't even notice it now. I did not remove the stuff that makes it stick to the vent and I pop it out easily to clean the dash.

We have 2 French Bulldog's so I can relate to the olfactory comment - lol. We switched their food not too long ago and it is much better now, but still there.

I like Pro Clip mounts, but if you ever have to deal with them (warranty and/or returns) they are nasty and condescending. For that reason alone I switched to the RAM mount systems. Their tech support is outstanding. I use them for my ham radio, GPS and iPad. Great company!
