I was looking to move my spare tire to the bed of my truck but don't plan to leave it there unless I am off-road. Is there something to secure the spare tire cable hoist bracket so that it does not bang around under the truck?

Safety wire, zip ties, duct tape, string, rope, spare electrical wire, electrical tape, masking tape - Tell your wife, girl friend or partner to hold it there for you while ya have fun driving around town - Just about anything you can think of will work.

Thank you for the advice! My girlfriend insisted on riding inside the truck so I had to come up with another option. I ended up getting some 6 x 6 rubber anti vibration rubber pads from Amazon. I cut holes into them to accommodate the bracket that holds the spare tire in place. Using three of the 7/8" thick pads I was able to crank the cable and bracket tight under the truck. Thanks again for your response!
