Just be cautious if you leave it permanently bypassed. If you do, you’ll need to let that tranny warm up a bit in colder climates before you place into gear and move.

I had another Ford truck bypassed and jumped in to move 10 feet or so (had a trailer hooked up too) and destroyed the transmission.

the shop in colorado that did this the first time, said they had no issues with any of the trucks they did in the past and it does get pretty cold in colorado. however i do use remote start often in the winters in colorado and i have mine set for 35 min runtime. hopefully thats enough
