GEN 2 Locking the rear Diff in 2wd

Agree for sure. So 4A any more locking action or has to be 4L/4H to be full time locked?

I have much more experience with plain posi(clutch/cone) and spools then with electronic locking rears.
I believe how others have said, Ford took away the locking in 2h as it would break axles, so what the alternative is, would be 4a or 4h depending on the terrain. Learning process which is better where you are playing.

Yes that’s true. 4A and locking the rear holds it locked. Think the only way it will release is if you exceed 45mph or so. May have been documented in the manual. Read something to this extent somewhere.

Argh, That’s not performance or fun behavior. Just more safety and reduction in performance. Makes sense how they would implement it this way however.

I dont know this for a fact, but how else does it spin both rears so well without locking the diff?
